Suzanne Esposito, LCSW
I’m Suzanne, a licensed clinical social worker and the founder and clinical director of North Salem Psychotherapy. I work with women and teens who are navigating anxiety, emotional overwhelm, trauma, and major life transitions, including pregnancy and the postpartum period.
I have over a decade of experience supporting adolescents and adults across a range of clinical settings, including private practice and outpatient care. I believe therapy works best when it feels safe, collaborative, and grounded in a strong therapeutic relationship. My goal is to create a space where you feel understood, respected, and supported in coming exactly as you are.
I have a particular interest in perinatal mental health and support clients through pregnancy, postpartum, fertility challenges, pregnancy loss, and the emotional and identity shifts that can accompany becoming a parent. This season of life can be both meaningful and deeply challenging, and I offer a non-judgmental space to talk openly about anxiety, mood changes, intrusive thoughts, and feelings that may be difficult to name.
My approach is thoughtful and paced with care. I draw from relational, mindfulness-based, and skills-informed work to help clients better understand patterns, build emotional regulation, and feel more grounded in their day-to-day lives. I’m especially attuned to working with people who are high-functioning on the outside while struggling internally.
As the clinical director of North Salem Psychotherapy, I oversee and supervise our team of therapists to ensure care across the practice is ethical, consistent, and aligned with our values. I’m passionate about creating a supportive environment for both clients and clinicians.
I offer in-person therapy in Westchester County and telehealth services throughout New York State.
